Who We Are
The Velocity School is a learning community where students are encouraged to grow with confidence, curiosity and purpose. We believe that every child learns differently and deserves an environment where they feel valued, supported and inspired to do their best. Our goal is to help students build a strong foundation in knowledge, skills and character while developing the confidence to take on new challenges.
With students from Preschool to Grade VII, we strive to create a culture of respect, responsibility and lifelong learning. We work closely with students, teachers and families to ensure that learning remains meaningful and engaging. At The Velocity School, education is not only about academic success but also about helping children grow into capable and responsible individuals.
Our Learning Approach
We believe that learning is most effective when students actively participate in the process. Our classrooms encourage questioning, exploration and discussion so that students develop a deeper understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing information. We aim to make learning relevant, engaging and connected to real-life experiences.
Alongside strong academic foundations, students are provided opportunities to apply their learning through projects, activities and practical experiences. We encourage creativity, collaboration and critical thinking across different areas of learning. This balanced approach helps students build confidence while developing the skills needed for continued success both inside and outside the classroom.
Our Parterships
Through Karkhana Science, students take part in hands-on science activities that encourage questioning and exploration. Karkhana also provides teacher trainings and access to quality resources to support effective classroom teaching and meaningful science learning.
We work closely with Lawanya International to implement the STEAM-based CPS and CPRS curriculums from Playgroup to Grade III. These curriculums support academic development while fostering creativity, collaboration and communication. Lawanya also strengthens our Teacher Development Program with weekly observations, feedback and workshops.
In partnership with Mero Coding, students from Grade III onwards are introduced to coding and digital creation. Learners explore game design, app and website development, 3D modelling and basic robotics, building logical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
With VAAV, students participate in age‑appropriate Social‑Emotional Learning programs that support emotional awareness, empathy and wellbeing. These sessions help children understand emotions, build healthy relationships and develop focus for learning.
MIDAS eClass provides audio-visual resources for core academic subjects, supported by interactive games and activities. The platform enhances understanding, supports self-paced learning and strengthens students’ academic foundations.
Through Veda, student records such as attendance, homework, assessments, fees and library use are managed digitally. Parents can access this information through The Velocity School App, available on both Android and iOS, supporting regular school‑home communication.
Through PlayFit, students participate in structured physical education programs that promote active lifestyles, teamwork and overall wellbeing. Through engaging games, sports and fitness activities, students develop coordination, confidence and sportsmanship while building healthy habits that support their overall development.
With Kalpavriksha's Phonics Program, students develop strong foundational literacy skills through a structured and engaging approach to language learning. Through stories, games and interactive activities, children build confidence in listening, speaking, reading and writing while developing a strong foundation for future academic success.
